Written Business Communication Practice + Self-Evaluation
Complete parts 1 and 2 on the topic of business communication. After your teacher takes up the
responses as a class, complete the self-evaluation rubric and submit it.
Part 1
Emails are a regular part of business communication in today’s world. The following email was written
from a hotel business to a customer seeking information concerning a business convention at their
resort. The email should be a formal discussion concerning pricing and basic resort information,
however there are some errors in language formality and basic language skills. Your job is to edit the
email to ensure the customer’s business. You can edit the email in a Word doc and submit.
