ABOVE AND BEYOND:
POSITIVELY PETE HEADS FOR TEDX
EDI Communications Specialist Pete Partin celebrated a personal victory
this past month when he received word that he was accepted to perform a TED
talk at the TEDxFortWayneStudio. The recording is set to take place in June at Pete’s
“Positively Pete” art studio in Huntington, Indiana. Pete will work with a professional
coach to refine his talk on turning negative situations into positive learning
experiences.
Using some of his own stories, he hopes to convey a message that will help others
discover their purpose and passion. “My primary goal is to provide hope, inspiration,
and encouragement to those struggling and going through difficult situations,” says
Pete. He plans to express to the audience how art has played a significant role in
his journey to discovering his own purpose and passion. Pete has big goals for his
motivational speaking and writing. This TED talk will take him one step closer to
that goal.
If you’re interested in viewing more of Pete’s content you can check out his YouTube
channels 1Unscripted and Unscripted (with Rick Miller). You can also go back
and view his Techapalooza session from last year. Pete also enjoys his lunch in the
Summit Room and welcomes anyone who may have questions or discussion points to
join him.
