WHAT'S HAPPENING:
FORT WAYNE
To raise money to buy gifts for children
hospitalized over the holidays, the employee
board sold raffle tickets for the chance to
win wooden Christmas decorations made by
Kevin Riley. Jean Fahy won the Noel letters
and Stacey Stanton won the jolly penguin.
The raffle brought in a total of $356 for
Christmas families.
MESQUITE
A group of team
members helped
decorate a special
Christmas tree to be
auctioned off at the
local fundraiser for To honor their veterans,
the Mesquite Arts the team organized
Council. a potluck lunch with
enough entrées and side
dishes for everyone.
SIKESTON
The team held their annual chili cookoff and dessert contest. There
were guest judges from the Sikeston Chamber of Commerce and
Bootheel United Way. In the chili showdown, Randy Myers placed
1st, followed by Becky Warner (2nd) and Mark Ponder (3rd). On Families enjoyed a beautiful fall afternoon at Beggs Family Farm.
the dessert side, Jo Glueck took 1st, Teressa Mayfield placed 2nd Over 300 staff, spouses, children, and grandchildren participated in
and Angie Mayo claimed 3rd. activities that included a corn maze, tractor ride, and pumpkin patch.
