California State Council held the annual Leadership Conference Aug. 4 and
5th in Madera, Ca.

This year we focused on encouraging members, who have never done so, to accept
chairmanships when asked. CSC chairmen in attendance presented short workshops on how
much fun you can have being a chairman and what their chairmanships involved.

The chairmen not able to attend, sent reports to their CSC Executive Board counterparts to read
at leadership. We handed out "Quick Reference" sheets showing when and where to send
various dues, CSC reporting forms and samples of how to complete each form.

Lest you think it was all business and no time for fun, I
have included a few snaps of what I call "Leadership
Shenanigans"
