Since IC Leadership, I’ve been thinking a lot about the future for ESA. We have to continue
Past IC President Sherry Day’s theme to “Dream Big” an new IC President Sandy
Alexander’s theme to “Ispire”. That means we can’t quit! We need to Dream Big and
Inspire others to let their Colors Shine Through in ESA! Than means we have to encourage
each other, share ideas and work on building our membership. If every chapter would get
at least one new member, we would be on go for Dreaming Bi, Inspiring, and letting our
Colors Shine. My word “Shine” made me think about when we were in Little Rock for SERC
a few years ago and the group “STAND” was there…remember?

For those who weren’t there, they were impressive. I thought I’d love to use their acronym,
but I knew I couldn’t. I couldn’t help to think about ESA and our love and the “Good
Deeds, Good Times, and Good Friends”!

So my acronym for SHINE is:

Striving, Supporting, and Showing
Hoping and Highlighting
Igniting and Inspiring
New Members
Encouraging in ESA

I hope we all think about this and “Shine” in ESA this year!
