CLINICALPERFORMANCE
Student participation and clinical performance will be observed and evaluated continuously by
clinical faculty throughout each clinical shift. Personal growth and continued clinical
performance improvement are expected throughout the course. Students should expect frequent
check-ins and feedback from faculty during each shift. Midterm and final clinical performance
evaluations will be completed by clinical faculty and reviewed privately with each student.
Failure to obtain a “satisfactory” rating on clinical performance evaluations will result failure of
NURS 271.
