10. Align the label for EmployeeState below the other labels and shrink the Text
Box. Remember that this field only needs to be large enough to accommodate two capital
letters. Delete the colon in the label.
11. Move the EmployeeZip label and field next to the EmployeeState field. Adjust
the length of the label and Text Box and delete the colon in the label.
12. Align the label for PhoneNumber below the other labels. Delete the colon from
the label and stretch the Text Box out to just beyond the 2-inch mark.
13. Leave a small space before going on to the DateOffiirth field. Align the label
for DateOffiirth below the other labels. Delete the colon from the label and stretch the
Text Box out to accommodate the date.

14. Tragg's does not have very many departments and it would not be very difficult
for the accounting clerk to memorize the department numbers. However, it would make
the form much more user-friendly and result in fewer input errors if the clerk can select the
department name from a pull-down menu. Therefore, we will create a Combo Box for the
DeptNo field. Click on the Combo Box ~ icon and draw a rectangle below the heading
label in the Employee Job Information rectangle.
15. When the Combo Box Wizard asks how you want the combo box to get its val-
ues, accept the default (i.e.,you want to look up the values in a table or query because we
will be getting the values from the DeptNo field). Click Next.
16. Choose the Department Table in the next screen and click Next.
17. Click the >> to select both fields for inclusion.
