In order to calculate payroll, it is necessary to track the hours worked for hourly employ-
ees. The Hours Worked Table and Hours Worked Form have been created for this
purpose. Since we have some employees who are production employees and some who are
nonproduction employees, this table and form can be considered part of the Conversion
Process. Therefore, we have not detailed the construction of these objects in this chapter.
Some points are worth noting, however.
Now that we have created the Employee Table and Employee Form, we can pop-
ulate the Hours Worked Table. Note that we only need to input data for hourly employ-
ees into this form. Open the Hours Worked Form and input the following data for the pay
period ended 9/3012006:
