                                17. Switch to the Form View by clicking on the View =2j icon. Notice that the cus-
tomer information is spread out in two columns and the city, state, and zip code portions
of the address are on separate lines.

Since this information will be returned automatically by the database once the
CustomerID has been entered, we can consolidate the information and make the form
                          more user-friendly.

                                18. Return to the Design View. Note that the Sales Form contains a subform (the Sales
Inventory Table Subform). Right-click on the Sales Form's Form Selector (the black square
in the upper left corner of the form where the two mlers meet) and click on Properties in the
pull-down menu (or, alternatively, click on View> Properties). Click on the Data tab, then
click on the Build button next to the Record Source. This opens the SQL Statement:
Query Builder window. Notice that the Sales Table and the Customer Table appear at the
top of the window linked by CustomerID. Also notice that all of the fields that we added to
the fmID appear in the columns, called the design grid, at the bottom of the window.

                                19. Scroll to the light of the design glid until you reach an open column. Click in the
Field cell of this column and click on the Build· icon (located on the Toolbar). This opens
the Expression Builder window, which facilitates the creation of new fields in a query. Double-
click on the Tables selection in the far left lower window and select the Customer Table.
