This institution offers several services
to facilitate entrepreneurs interested in
establishing their business in the country.
Legal advice, facilitating investment
procedures and follow up during the entire
process, are part of its functions.
The Center for Export and Investment of the Dominican Republic
(CEI-RD) is a government institution assigned to the President’s
Office.Created through Law 98-03 of June 7,of 2003,its main
functions are to ease and expedite companies’ export activities
and developing foreign investment in the country.
The CEI-RD’s mission is to promote exports and investments
in order to impulse the competitive insertion of the country in
international markets. Its vision is focused on being a world
class institution, offering business promotion services that
continue to improve the quality of life in the Dominican society
and the country’s competitiveness. This institution aims to be a
leader in the satisfaction of its clients, based on the continuous
improvement of the services offered in the fields of export and
investment such as:technical assistance,promotion,incentives,
commercial information, legal advice, training, logistic support,
always achieving the highest standards of quality,in compliance
with current laws and regulations.

Invest in the DR: Handles the promotion and encouragement
of foreign investment in the Dominican Republic. The team is
responsible for providing a range of support services of institu-
tional nature and free of charge.It offers personalized assistance
as well as legal advice.
Dominicana Exports: Promotes the country’s export supply to
international markets, directing and orienting the promotion of
exports, encouraging companies to be more competitive, effi-
cient,productive and transparent as well as to develop products
of high quality and value added.
Corporate Services: These are the technical and administrati-
ve departments supporting the needs and requirements of the
main divisions.
Institute for Foreign Trade and Business Innovation (ICEi):
Complementing the Dominican Republic’s efforts to break
through into a more competitive world, the ICEi promotes tra-
