“Well…...both of us are from the foot of the himalayas
around nepal.” said Maya
“A few years after we married we decided that we would
like to take a look around the world,” said Milan

“We started our journey in India travelling there for a few
months. That’s when Maya decided that she would like to go and
take a look at China.”
“When we first arrived in China we were shocked at how
marvelous the cities were.”

As the couple continued to describe the marvelous structure
in Beijing

“The life there isn’t as beautiful as you think…..” murmured
Zhēngqì quietly
The couple managed to hear what Zhēngqì said and
looked at him with confused faces.

“I was born in the slums of Beijing,” said Zhēngqì in a sad
tone “I have never even seen the face of my parents, I was picked
up and raised by an old lady…….” he continued as tears welled in the
corners of his eyes, when suddenly Ali stopped him and said that
he didn’t need to say it if he didn’t want to. Zhēngqì nodded silently
and the journey from there until they arrived at a caravanserai was
as quiet as the void of space. When they arrived at the caravanserai
Zhēngqì quickly went inside his own room, avoiding any
conversation and rested, while the others were out buying supplies.
