(1) If riser is going on a 1997 and older engine, that has the exhaust manifolds in the closed cooling system, also order 2 pcs. of 27-860231 separator gaskets to go between the manifold and risers.
(2) If engine has a remote oil filter, an Oil Filter Hose Extension Kit or Oil Filter Bracket may be required.
(3) Installation Kit is only required on sterndrive engines that have the exhaust going thru the propeller.
(4) Will not fit MCM V-6 engines with the 1 pc exhaust manifold.

EMISSIONS CONTROL)
Raises the height of the V‑6 & V‑8 small block EC engines exhaust
system to prevent water from entering the engine through the exhaust
system. Maximum height of 8 in.(203 mm). For MCM/MIE 8.1L & 8.2L
EC engines see "Exhaust Elbow Riser Kits (8.1L) Emissions Control"
section or "Exhaust Elbow Riser Kits (8.2L) Emissions Control" section.

Fits 2008 and newer MCM/MIE/Ski V‑6 (4.3L & 4.5L) & V‑8 (305, 350 & 377 cid)
EC engines. Also fits 4.5L V‑6 & 6.2L (Mercury) non‑EC engines.
Note: This kit does NOT include elbow gaskets for FWC engines. The FWC elbow
