Isolation of Pure Genomic DNA from Various Samples
HiGene™ Genomic DNA Prep Kit [Column type] is designed to isolate the genomic DNA using glass micro ber membrane as a
spin column type. The kit provides pure and high quality genomic DNA preparation system by removing PCR inhibition sub-
stances such as divalent cations and proteins. HiGene™ Genomic DNA Prep Kit [Column type] is using convenient method for the
isolation of pure genomic DNA directly from various samples including blood, bacteria, plants and others.

Know-how for high yield
1. Please use recommended volume / amount of each sample. In case of isolation from large amount of sample,
adjust the input volume of each solution in proportion to the amount of sample.
2. Prepare 80% Ethanol (not provided) in a WB Bottle. Make it fresh before use.
3. Please remove EtOH completely thorough column centrifugation before using DNA Hydration Solution.
4. Add dried enzyme to D.W (Bu er) and mix well. Please store it at -20°C.
5. Please use the product according to its expiration date.
6. Please do not vortexing strongly to avoid DNA degradation during cell lysis step.
7. Storage of GD1 at lower temperature may cause precipitation of salts due to SDS.
In this case, please use it after thawing in the microwave/dry oven.
8. Elution e ciency can be increased when using DNA Hydration Solution after pre-heating at 50 °C for 10 minutes.
(Especially, in case of large DNA fragment)
