Nowhere to Run

                                                      By: Raven Viandra

‘Shiiinng!’ Cassian dashed forward and with one neat slice, the creature’s head flew

off. Arthur leaned on a tree trunk and took a short break then he headed towards the
village with the creature’s head in his sack.

“Yeah!! Nice work Cassian!” The crowd cheered Cassian on as he came home and he
waved back at them while going straight towards the King’s palace.

“Your Majesty, my quest has been completed.” Cassian told the King. The King was
satisfied and had big plans for Cassian. Although Cassian is not as physically strong
as other knights, he was strong-willed and had a great personality and he made
friends with many people in the village.

Cassian was ecstatic that the King was happy and had recognized him, he cheerfully
went to the bar to grab a drink with his fellow knights.

“Nice job Cassian! A few more and you will be one of us!”

Cassian was having a jolly good time when he heard some of the knights at the back
               of the bar.

“Ey, did you know? Lieutenant Bartholomew and his squad supposedly went missing
               in the new crypts.”

“What? That is impossible! The new crypts were rumoured to be filled with weak
monsters, there is no way that the Lieutenant would struggle there.”

The news spread quickly across town and the King decided to send Cassian there.
The King assigned Cassian to clear the crypt and bring back the Lieutenant home.

Cassian was ecstatic, this quest was his big break and he could finally climb the
ranks, he would finally be able to accomplish his lifelong goals.
