“Thormund, Godfrey was killed last night. The murder weapon is oddly similar to another
murder reported in Solitude. There is no doubt, it is Yorick, the Dark Magus. You will
travel to the south and in ltrate the Sunstrider Tower and slay Yorick.” The king said
commandingly.
“My Lord, I believe that even if you deploy our whole city of troops, it will be impossible to
defeat Yorick. He is far too powerful.” Thormund said.
Thormund was about to leave the throne room when the king stopped him.
“Thormund, I know that Godfrey was your good friend, but this is no time to mourn. I
believe and trust that you will be able to defeat the Dark Magus.” The king said sternly.
Thormund, with a heavy heart, agreed with the king, and headed to the knights quarters.
He gathered his troops and told them to prepare to travel immediately.
Thormund and his troops traveled for 5 hard days through the heavy snow and never
ending rain. They had nally reached the Sunstrider Tower. The residence of the most
powerful magus of the land, Yorick. He was once a noble, a mage who fought alongside the
great knights of old, but as time went on he became more corrupted and he went mad. Not
much is known about dark magic, something that Yorick himself is extremely adept at, and
also something that makes him an extremely formidable foe.
The tower stood tall in the elds of the Violet Plateau. Thormund and his men entered the
gigantic tower and searched for the mad mage. When they reached the top oor, a
mysterious gure stood in front of them. It was a man dressed in white robes, his skin as old
as time itself, around him were three orbs. These three orbs were orange, blue, and purple
respectively.
“It’s true, he has mastered all three elements, Quas, Wex and Exort.” Thormund thought to
himself.
