girl’s actions. “Look I’m in a bit of a bind so if you could just hurry up and make
your point, that’d be really great.” He added, sounding intimidated.

“Dad.” The mysterious figure finally spoke.

Without sparing a second, the girl wrapped her hands around Archie and

squeezed him tight. Not understanding the entire situation, Archie decided not to
return the hug and left his hands by his side instead. After a few long seconds of
ringing silence the girl finally pulled back.

“Dad it’s me Cassie.”

“Wha- that can’t be, Cassie’s back in her roo-.” Before he could finish his
sentence, Archie finally understood what she meant. “Ohhh, you mean you’re this

year’s Cassie, future Cassie.”

“Yeah, I guess you could say that.” Cassie grinned.

“My God, my little girl, all grown up.” “You look beautiful sweetie, you look just

like your mother.”

The girl blushed, painting her cheeks red. Flattered by her father’s compliment,
Cassie simply chuckled nervously before saying, “You always say that.”

“Well it’s true.”

And the both of them stared at each other in silence, admiring each other’s
presence as precious seconds ticked by.

“Anyway.” Archie snapped, finally breaking the silence. “You must know why I’m

here right?”
