Demons in Halos

I had zero interest in everyone, to me all people are the annoying bugs. I enjoy pulling off
the wings and to watch my enemy suffer, but it is nothing personal. How could the devil be
personal with a bug? No, it is simply the devil’s game. What I am after is the destruction of
creation, to destroy their life forms, to watch them suffer and die.

Upon this sunny day. The atmosphere had an aura of brightness as the light flickered
through. The sun finds its way from the horizon to the summit of the sky, piercing it's
lucid sunlight to a city full of sinners.

I put on my watch and I passed my nephew’s room. I stood still and I inhaled, I realized how
cold I am to my nephew, Elijah. I don’t know how to express my love for her.

I tried to knock on her door to see her before I went to work, but all of the sudden I
realized the door is not closed properly, so I rushed into the room and I didn’t see her. I
panicked as My face started to be washed by my sweat. My hands started to shaked, and
my brain started to switch off. I scream her name loudly.

“Elijah!!” That's all I can do. But I suddenly saw a piece of notes. “Come to the warehouse
- Jeremy Jucker.” I knead the paper as my face burns into flames.

I take out my phone and call my partner, Jason.

“Come here and bring inspektur Jayden to my warehouse.” I asked as I clench my fist.

“Whats wr-“

“NOW!” I cutted him with a shouter, he understood my words and hung up the phone.

I rushed to the warehouse, and I arrived with my body washed by a bucket of sweat and the
nerve coming out of my face felt like my face was going to explode anytime. I finally saw him
tying up Elijah who’s already fainted.

“let her go!” I screamed loudly.

“I’ll show you what a real hell looks like, and I’ll make sure you can’t judge me on the court
tomorrow.” He drops a lit matc h to the ground and I’ve just realized that the ground is
already flooded by oil. Jeremy Jucker escaped through the window. The g round started to
light up flames as I ran towards Elijah to untie her and I carried her on my back.

I rushed all of the flames and I saw Jason and Jayden running towards me. They told me
that they took a video of him already and I asked them to catch Jeremy. I took Elijah back
home and rested her in her room as I tried to catch my breath, but suddenly Jason called
me.

“We got our suspect sir, someone set him free yesterday, and I might know who it is. I saw
him on one of the president's talk shows and he’s close to the president.” He explains while
he’s catching his breath.

“Now we know who’s behind this all, see you at our meeting this afternoon Jason.” I inhaled
roughly.
