Fear of The Dark

It was already past 1 am, everybody in the house was already asleep except for Ken.
Every Single night he has a hard time sleeping since he always has a feeling that

something is watching him from the dark which scares him every night. Ken quickly went
out of my bed to turn on the lights in my room since he felt like something was not right.
When he tried to turn on the switch it did not work and the lights would not turn on,
suddenly he heard footsteps and noises downstairs. This made him really scared and also

worried so he decided to run back to the bed and hide inside a blanket. As time passes
the footstep that Ken hears is getting closer and closer to him. Not long after Ken heard
something open the door of his room and he started to walk inside the room. Luckily due
the room being so dark and Ken hiding inside the blanket he was not spotted by the

strange thing.

After Ken heard the strange thing going out of his room he decided to get out of the
blanket to try to check out what it was. But it was too afraid of the dark which made him

start hallucinating and seeing things that were not even there. He saw something coming
toward him slowly but he could not do anything because he was stunned. It kept getting
closer and closer but Ken could not even move a single body part, he saw that the strange
thing was already next to him and suddenly he was finally able to move so he shouted for

help. The strange thing suddenly disappeared and Ken noticed that he was hallucinating.
Ken took some time trying to calm himself down before going down since he knew he
woke everyone up and he should tell the family what happened to him.

After he was feeling better he went downstairs to tell his family but he saw a thief getting
captured by the whole family. He noticed that the person who entered the room and
broke the light was the thief. Ken noticed that the dark had basically saved him by hiding
him inside the blanket without being seen by the thief and also the dark hallucinate which

made him shout for help which is the reason the thief was able to be captured. The whole
family thanked Ken for waking them up and he felt happy he was able to help. Ken
decided that he won't tell his family what actually happened that night and decided to
keep it for himself. Ken still could not believe that his own fear was the reason his life and

also his family was saved from the thief who tried to rob his house.
