Elita was unconcerned and ignored what her mother said. Elita and John
started to meet up often which made her grow more feelings for him as he

was sweet and showered her with compliments. She was determined to

express her feelings for John the next time they met and finally confessed
her feelings to John on January 23, 2013.

She prepared for her meeting with John by practicing her confession lines.
She quickly snapped out of her reverie when she heard a knock on the

door, and she knew it was John who was there to pick her up. When she

got to the door, her mother saw her and laughed, saying, "He called you
pretty, and now you think he loves you?" "Did I bring you up to be this

stupid?" Elita ignored her mother and pushed open the door, her heart

racing and her cheeks flushed. This was what she had prepared for, but the

moment she saw John, everything she had planned for this moment had
gone down the drain with all the anxiety and fear crawling into her.

Nonetheless, she persisted and confessed. John then kissed her, indicating

that he feels the same way. They spent the night together; it was Elita's

best day ever.

But later on, Elita caught John kissing another woman which violated her

to the core of her being. After her mother humiliated her, she locked
herself in her room. A few weeks later, she realized that the best thing she

could do was to move on and resume her normal life.
