Little Joys in Life

I turned off my iPad and closed my eyes, my mind told me to rest. It was a

stressful day, I had thousands of tests to study and millions of homework to
do.It felt as if all of my energy had been drained for the day, that exhausted

feeling dead moment was just traumatizing. “ Hi Koko”, the most beautiful

words my lovely toddler sister said. I couldn’t forget it was her birthday today,
so I decided to spend a moment with her before I proceed to battle.

“Kids come down,” said my dad. We all came down after the call, a box of cake
was taken out from the fridge by my dad and the candles were lit. My sister

was so happy and her smile brightened my day. The moment she sees the

cake she knows she is the main character. Together we sang the birthday
song, my sister tried to follow us singing the song but she couldn’t, that

moment has always stuck in my mind. She was funny and happy when she

tried to copy us singing, Our laughs and smiles filled the whole house when
she tried to follow us singing. It was a sign of grown-up, she used to only talk

in baby language but at that time she could follow a part of the song and the
tone. The big smile on my family's face was even bigger than my world, A

laugh that is full of heart. Words can’t describe how happy we were when we

heard her sing. She could even say thank you to her parents.

That moment has made my day, my world was just about them all of my

worried stresses have flown away. It was that moment that made me feel how
grateful to have a cherished family that is worth more than anything.

After a joyful moment, we all ate the delicious cake together. spending some

time with our loved ones together. I looked at the time and remembered that

if I had other work to do, I left them as I went to my study room to study.
Although my mind was tired at that time, that moment has made my day. I

continue to do my work and study for my upcoming test.
