Que Sera Sera
There was once an innocent girl named Jennie who knew nothing around
herself, so the little things in life would have always motivated her. In
kindergarten, she was constantly asked what she wanted to be as an adult.
Being an innocent girl, she had wanted to be a doctor; she wanted to save lives,
but that didn’t happen. As time flew by, she was finally in her second year of
high school. Before Jennie had even gotten to her third year, she had to choose
whether to take the science or business subjects.
Even though Jennie had aspirations to be a doctor ever since she was a child,
she had to think for a long time because she didn’t even know what she
wanted to be now. Jennie grew to be an indecisive person as the years went by.
She didn’t know what she wanted to be anymore, and she envied others who
had such confidence and knew what they wanted to be.
Jennie had changed ever since high school; her life has improved since going to
church. In Jennie’s church, the priest would always talk about how God has a
plan for our lives. God's plans would vary from person to person. Jennie was
told to follow her instincts since whatever she chose was what God had
planned for her, yet she was worried, but as time would slowly go by, she didn’t
worry anymore because she believed God would do his best for her and
everyone.
Jennie stopped worrying about what she’d be in the future, deciding that
whatever life had for her, she was prepared for it. What we want to be may not
always be in the future. Sometimes, what we want to become will not always
be what we will become in the future. As the saying goes, “Therefore do not be
anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for
the day is its trouble.” Matthew 6:34
