6.8 Resistance/ Rintangan SPM 2015
Inference / Inferens: The brightness of light bulb depends on the diameter of the wire
Kecerahan mentol bergantung kepada diameter wayar
Hypothesis / Hipotesis: The greater the diameter of wire, the lower the resistance.
Semakin besar diameter wayar, semakin rendah rintangan

(s.w.g 26,s.w.g 28, s.w.g.30,
s.w.g 32 and s.w.g 34), sel kering, ammeter dan voltmeter
Arrangement of apparatus /
Susunan radas:
Procedure / Prosedur : • A constantan wire s.w.g 26 is connected across terminal X and Y
• The switch is closed and the rheostat is adjusted so the
current, I = 0.5 A.
• Take reading of the voltmeter.
• Calculate the resistance R = V/I
• The experiment is repeated with constantan wires s.w.g
28,s.w.g 30, s.w.g 32 and s.w.g 34.
