               Abstract

The Innovative Measurement of Electricity from Temperature - IMET project aims to create an
instrument for measuring electricity from the temperature change of conductors in the circuit. To solve
the problem of not being able to measure electric current in the circuit due to various limitations. The
management team has conducted a study to find the relationship between the current flowing through
the conductors in the circuit and the temperature of the changed conductors to be fabricated as an
innovative to measure the current from the temperature change of the conductors in the circuit. From
the study, by connecting the electrical circuit to the solenoid coil conductors 5, 10, 15 and 20 turns in
the current range 0.5-1.8 amperes. After that, the relationship can be written to control program on
Arduino microcontroller board by using Thermocouple sensor to measure temperature. It also uses the
C language in Arduino to process the operation so that the LCD screen will show the current value of
the circuit at the temperature changing. The innovation has a deviation of 4 percent from the actual
value in the current range 0.5-0.9 amperes for 10 turns and 1.1-1.7 amperes for 5 turns. Studies have
shown that innovation can measure current in a limited circuit and tolerances within the standard.
