One day, a villager who was picking fruits on a tree saw a rare deer. He also found a

snake approaching the deer. He gave a yell which frightened the deer. It ran away before

the snake could get to it. Once the snake left, the villager climbed down and ran home. Several

days later, the villager was walking home after picking fruits. He saw the deer again. He

stood very still because he did not want to disturb it. Suddenly, it reared up and made a

loud sound. The villager got a fright but he was even more stunned when he saw a snake

slither past him and into the jungle.
