During the school holidays, Kwee Lian and her parents visited Japan. They went sightseeing

and shopping too. She bought some souvenirs. Her father paid for them using Japanese money
called yen.

At meal times, Kwee Lian and her parents ate at different restaurants. Kwee Lian wanted to
eat sushi so they went to a popular sushi restaurant. Kwee Lian used chopsticks to eat the sushi.

They also went walking in the park. They sat on a bench under a f ower tree. Kwee Lian
saw two women dressed in kimono posing for pictures. Kwee Lian and her parents took a lot of

pictures of the beautiful park too.
