One morning, Wahid saw a man throw some rubbish into the river. The bags of rubbish
f oated down the river. There was a fallen tree trunk across the river and they got stuck under it.

Wahid saw plastic bottles, plastic bags and even clothes in the river. He was shocked and

sad. He wanted to clean up the river. He got an idea so he rushed home to tell his family.

Two weeks later, Wahid and his neighbours cleaned the river. They removed all the rubbish.
Then, they placed large recycling bins next to the riverbank. They also put up a sign advising people
to keep the river clean.
