RM30 – savings account – RM120

Billy gets RM80 pocket money every month. He uses most of his money for food, books and

stationery. However, he always saves RM30 in his savings account at the bank.

Billy sees an advertisement for a toy robot in the newspaper today. The robot has many
functions and it is a popular toy. Many of his friends have it and they always talk about it too.
However, it costs RM120.

Billy thinks carefully for a while. He has diligently saved and does not want to use his savings

to buy something he does not really need. Therefore, he decides not to waste his money on the
robot.
