make the bulb light!”

Flavours of the World
The cooking club embarked on
a “Theme of Flavours of the
world- Unity in Diversity”. Mrs
Matthew and Mrs Rehab start-
ed the ball rolling by bringing in
the flavours of Mexico into the
kitchen. Then the talented Mr
Mason shared his expertise as a
Thai chef, teaching us all about
Papaya salad and Thai Green
curry.
Arabic teacher Mrs Hanan
taught the pupils all about Kab-
sa and its origins. We had nurse
Ayah sharing her culinary ex-
pertise about Italian cooking
and the benefits thereof. It’s
been a journey of exotic spices,
East meeting West and such a
flavoursome experience for the Mrs Syrie Matthew
pupils. Head of Science
