component. Two(2) MW TRIGA REACTOR in UCDAVIS
university has neutron radiography facility dedicated to
inspect aircraft wing. In this case, exposure area re-
quire a large space. The jet wing under neutron radio-
graphy inspection looking for any corrosion is given in
Figure 5.11.
This neutron radiography facility is dedicated for in-
spection of the aircraft engineering components. There
are two loading bay available for neutron radiography
inspection, first bay is for small object and the second
one is used only for large object where the handling de-
vice also ready to be used to control the object [Stewart
and Heritage, 1982b]. Large area detection screen is
