ing technique can be rightly applied in cultural heritage
items. In ancient era, ceramic was used to make statue
for worship related with the religion. Ceramic also have
been used for making kitchen ware in ancient time.
The typical example of ceramic made for ancient pot-
tery in Egypt is given in Figure 5.12. This pottery is be-
lieved has been used for pray. The internal configura-
tion and slices given in computed tomography images
of the pottery is shown in Figure 5.13. Discontinuity
or abnormality occurs in the ceramic material can be
seen from the CT images.
