Safety ALWAYS comes first, and it is the ultimate responsibility of the driver.

USING YOUR PHONE WITH A COMPUTER

Employees may only connect their mobile phones to a company computer with the
express permission of their line manager. Risks, including virus infection, the installation
of unlicensed software and changes to standard configuration, have to be managed as
they carry risks for the local network.

               EMERGENCY CALLS:

If you have restricted or barred outgoing calls from your phone, calls to emergency
numbers (999) may still be possible. Emergency numbers vary by location. If your phone
supports pre-programmed one-touch emergency dialling, it will be programmed with one
number only, which may be incorrect if you are using your phone overseas.

PERSONAL PHONE CALLS / MOBILE PHONES AT WORK:

The use of personal mobile phones by employees whilst employed in the delivery of care
is restricted. Where there is no direct requirement for employees to make calls or to be
contacted during the course of employment, usage is respectfully restricted to break times
or emergency use only. Phones can be switched on but should be switched to silent/
vibrate and not answered whilst engaging with customers or in the presence of customers.
