highlighted that Higher Education Council
could organise short term workshops of
eminent personalities like Prof. Romila
Thapar (distinguished historian of modern
Asia), Ashish Nandy (Indian political
psychologist, social theorist, and critic),
Amit Bhaduri (Economist), Prabhat Patnaik
(Economist & Political Commentator),
Utsa Patnaik (Economist), Dr. N. J. Rao
(Vice Chancellor of Jaypee University
of Engineering and Technology) for the
young teachers. He concluded by stating
that education system in Kerala should
go forward in improving the knowledge
of languages, creative writing and
communication skills.
