The manuscript begins with a large colophon, which gives the date of
the manuscript copy, cited in five different eras: 4770 from Creation,
1444 from KingJchoiachin's exile, 1319 from 'Greek dominion' (malkut
ha-yawanim), 940 from the destruction of the second Temple ofJerusalem,
and 399 from Hijrah (qeren ze'irah). The month is Siwan. 51
