throughout Malaya before and
after the World War II
The struggle of the rubber plantation workers
known as "The Klang Strike 1941" which was
the largest, planned and most militant strike
ever seen by the British. This struggle is also a
protest against the sexual harassment of
female workers
In 1962-1965, Labour Party celebrated
International Women’s Day (IWD) on March 8,
where it is a procession to submit claims
such as the right to vote for women, the right
for women to hold public office, the right to
work, stop sex-based discrimination and so
on,
