How does this happen?
In the 1950s, women were supposed
to depend on men to make money for
them. They themselves are obliged to
be loving mothers, diligent housewives,
and obedient wives to form a perfect
family.
Formal schooling for girls was also
established to ensure upper class girls
to be good wives for the local elite.
