For those who don’t know, people with social anxiety, depression, mental illness, and so
on (who aren’t just a fraud, out to get attention from the world) hate it when people start
to lecture them or take pity on them for having to go through whatever suffering it was.
If you start telling them how imprudent they were or tell them that “It’s not right to
commit suicide” and other similar comments, please be ready for a failed attempt of helping.

Because what you should do, is to just hear them out if they need someone to talk to,
then try to think of the whole situation from their point of view and assess the problem
from there instead of jumping into your own conclusions.

Learn to put yourself in their shoes.

              To the self-centered:
Otherwise known as “the pampered”, you might think that the world revolves around you.
Of course, you’ll never agree with this statement and deny it because of your pride and
ego. Bear in mind that it is okay to think of yourself from time to time and it is okay to
be selfish for the right reasons at least. But despite that, you can’t put yourself above
others and imagine everything to be only about you.

If you ever think that your life is utterly awful and that everyone should take your
pitiful life into account, please just stop! To even have that kind of thought is probably
a sin itself. You are complaining about how abominable your life is to make yourself
noticeable but by doing so, you may end up boasting about how great your life is
compared to the life of your listener; who is listening to your unbearable outburst.

It is something like this: A student complains about getting grades below “A” but still
obtains an average mark, scoring above 60%. Yet, this student feels like his or her world
is crumbling to pieces because it wasn’t an “A”. He or she rants about it non-stop, not
knowing that the person beside him or her is quietly contemplating the outcome of getting
a big red letter “F” in the face.

Words and actions can easily affect others around you, which is why we must think from
other people’s perspective of things. Don’t just start going on and on about how bitter
your life is, take other people’s emotions and thoughts into a fair amount of consideration
              as well.

                                                                              Cinema
                                                                                  &
                                                                              Movies!
