3052 – Wellness and Treatment Letters

        LETTERS TO BE PRINTED AND MAILED:

               RESULT STATEMENT:  Clients who have been reminded for the pet’s services by post card, e-mail and a
               series of 4 calls over 8 weeks, and are overdue by at least 8 weeks, are sent a hard copy letter in the mail
               offering and incentive to come in.  By offering our client an incentive to update vaccines and well care,
               we hope they will schedule an appointment for their pet(s) to keep them healthy, and prevent
               unforeseen illness, allowing them to live longer, happier lives.

             a.  WELLNESS LETTERS:  Incentive letters are mailed to clients whose pet(s) are overdue for wellness and
                treatment by 10 weeks, and to whom we have made 4 wellness/treatment calls in the 8 weeks prior.
                Incentive letters offer complimentary services such as a bath or nail trim for canine pets and a nail trim
                for feline pets with the update of vaccinations and well care exams.  If the client is unable to take
                advantage of the incentive at the time of the exam, we make the service available to them within two
                weeks of the appointment for the update of vaccinations and the exam.

                  Procedure:  Generate a reminder list (see number 2 for instructions), that will list clients whose pets
                  are overdue for wellness/treatment 10 weeks prior to today’s date.  (70 to 77 days prior to today.)
