“Sir?”
“Yes, James. Come in. What’s the matter?”
“The night before Jacqueline’s death, I informed you about the cameras in mansion getting
jammed. You too, told me that you went to check upon it. What happened there, actually,
sir?”
“I... uhh.. The thing is... Rats chewed the wire. Yep! That’s it. The cameras gone spoilt. So, I
left the mansion, then”.
James gave me a long, serious and stern look. Not even once did he shutter his eyes.
Disbelief ratcheted up a notch on James’ eyes. Sighed heavily, I questioned James.
“James, here’s what. I’m not gonna ask how... But, when did you find this out?”
“The moment I saw your forms that you asked Sarah’s orphans to fill in. What kind of a form
would ask their Zodiacs and their adopted status? That’s when I get the hunch”.
“BINGO! You’ve really got some brains stacked up in your upper ground, man. YES! It’s me.
I am the psycho who killed those three idiotic females and casted their bodies in the
mansion. The camera, being jammed that night... You want to know how? Camera jammers,
you idiot. I was there the minute you called me. I was enjoying ripping chunks of flesh out of
her body that night. Uffff!! The hot scarlet blood that oozed when I was busy piercing her
body... It was divine! Her screams for help, terrors that filled that her eyes and her last-
minute childish hope that someone would come and save her all made me feel so good”.
“Why why why why!!? Why would you do that to such innocents souls?”
“As I told you days before, James, psychos don’t have any intentions. They just kill to
confess their buried pain”.
“WHAT WAS ALL YOUR PAIN ABOUT? BEING AN ORPHAN AND NOT GETTING
ADOPTED?”
“No, of course not just that. You want to know my pain? Where it all started? It started the
moment the woman who meant everything to me deleted me from her life. The moment
she got me rid because I’m a bloody unadopted orphan. You don’t know how much I begged
her and how much I cried. That’s what brought the monster out of me, James.
