“Cast your funky hearts into some stinking drainage, Jack. When you have problems in your
life, after marriage, do you think those hearts will sort them out. They ain’t worth a penny.
Family supports you and that is what I need”.
“YOU NEEDED NOT THIS WHEN WE LOVED EACH OTHER, YOU CRUEL WOMAN!” I
shouted.
“Where’s your so-called hearts now, Jack? You killed it the minute you yelled at me. As I
said, leave me be”.
That was the last second of my delightful, colour-filled, happiest chapter of my life. The
woman whom I thought would be the angel of my life turned out to be the devil. She tore
my heart apart, left them in pieces and rubbed me off her memories. I pleaded her, knelt
before her and even, fell to her feet, badly wanting her back in my life but all she did in
return, was shooting me down like a garbage and walking away from my life. The animosity
and dejection I went through upon her leaving were the worst days of my life.
Promptly, I heard a loud call before me. Only then did it dawn on me that James was
gaspingly calling me for quite some time. My thoughts flung back to present.
“Sir, I’ve done all the arrangements. The girls too, understood our situation and agreed on
coping with us”.
“That sounds great. Tell the Control room to keep an eye on them at all times. Everything
they do, you keep me posted. Observe the mansion. Anything suspicious just ring me up the
next second. Don’t be careless. Update me about the females every day. Only one shot we
have to lurk the devil in imprisonment. Got it?”
“Sure, sir. I’ll carefully observe them from the Control room. By the way, what were all
those deep thoughts just now, sir? I called you several times but you seemed to be thinking
hard about something”.
“Nothing important, James. Just thought of the once-upon-a-time love of my life. I’ve told
you about her before, didn’t I?
“You did, sir. The woman who abandoned you a year ago?”
“Yes”.
“What’s her name again, sir?”
