The results of that were sent to you by email a while back. If you missed it,
then maybe we don’t hold a valid (or any) email for you, or you have not
checked the spam folder lately. In any event, links are available to the email
on the Forum and our Facebook page and if you have changed email
address recently, do let us know. Whilst we hope to hold a Rally or two in
August and the fall, and to have a Laying Up Supper in November, the
Rendezvous and other Rallies have been pushed back into 2021.
You may well be reading this online, as we know that there will be problems
getting the magazine printed immediately. Again, Nick and Ali, our Editors,
have used their time productively and enhanced the content that we can
make available to members, and the SOA has invested in improving the
medium that we use to bring even more Southerly centric content to you.
Many of us have also taken this time to catch up those jobs that should have
been done years ago, but we were too busy boating !
Whilst it is frustrating having our boats (in many cases) locked away in yards
that we cannot visit, at least there are some jobs we can do at home, ready
for the time that we can visit the boats and make these best of whatever
summer we are left with.
So, hopefully we will all get a chance to enjoy a drink or two before the year
is out. Keep well, and stay safe, and remember, there are plenty of people
in the World for whom C-19 will be a far greater calamity.

Many thanks to you all for these wonderful and inspiring Articles.
th
Interestingly, as we enter our 5 year of editing the magazine we have seen
that many of the Articles submitted by you describe longer trips and
voyages not just on distance covered but over time as well. Perhaps the
ability to share these adventures and keep in touch with family and friends
has encouraged us to explore further and for longer? The article by Bruno
