P. 89
KEY CHARACTERISTICS
Describing the organization and analysis of data collected during the
previous phase.
EDUCATORS’ ACTIONS
Describe how to coordinate the discussions among students about the
scientific data. Provide details about strategies which you may use to
support the students’ organization of their data. Then, provide details
for how the students will be invited to begin their arts activity, inspired
by their analysis. We encourage you to be creative here! There may
not be a “one size fits all” way to make this transition from the
scientific analysis to the artistic part of the activity.
STUDENTS ACTIONS
Students analyze and categorize the data. They make a first attempt
to create a scenario on which their arts-education activity will be
based. They may work in groups to generate ideas for how to achieve
this.
