You can add a new bookmark to the Favorites bar in any of these ways:


                           If a page you’d like to enfavorite is open, drag its icon (the tiny

                                or other symbol just before its name in the address bar) directly
                           downward onto the Favorites bar to install it there.


                           Click      —but in the resulting box (Figure 9-6, left), choose

                           “Favorites bar” from the “Save in” drop-down menu.

                           Open the Hub (          ). Drag an existing favorite into the Favorites

                           Bar folder, as shown at right in Figure 9-6.)




                  Tip

                  In Edge, five important lists are hiding in the Hub—the panel marked by   . But there are direct
                  keyboard shortcuts for all five, too. You’ve got Ctrl+I (Favorites), Ctrl+M (reading list), Ctrl+Y
                  (Books), Ctrl+H (History list), and Ctrl+J (Downloads list).





                History List



                The history is a list of the websites you’ve visited. To see it, click             , and
                then      . Or install the History icon (       ) directly onto the address bar, as

                described on “Scrolling Edge”. Or skip all that and just press Ctrl+H.

                Figure 9-8 presents the world’s shortest History class.




                  Tip

                  When the FBI comes around, don’t forget you can erase the entire history with a click or tap on
                  “Clear history,” shown at top right in Figure 9-8.
