2. You misplaced your cellphone. Ask a co-worker if she has seen it.
3. You’ve heard the name of a Japanese city. Find out where in Japan it is
located.
4. Discuss with a co-worker what pieces of furniture and appliances you have

and how they are arranged in your room.
5. You see a stranger sitting next to a senpai. Ask a co-worker who that is.

Driving in Town

On a business trip Ms. Sato drives while Michael checks the GPS.
Sato: Where might the parking lot be?

Chūsha-jō wa dono hen deshō ka.
駐車場はどの辺でしょうか。

Michael: You (should) turn right at the next intersection.
Tsugi no kōsaten de migi ni magarimasu.
次の交差点で右に曲がります。

They approach the parking structure.

Sato: Here we are, right?
Koko desu ne?
ここですね?

Michael: Hey, watch out! This is the exit, right? The entrance is on the opposite
side.

A abunai! Koko wa deguchi deshō. Iriguchi wa hantai-gawa desu
yo.
あ、危ない！ここは出口でしょう。入り口は反対側ですよ。
