              Temüjin proclaimed


              as Genghis Khan 1206
              Temüjin’s tactics make him an efficient
              commander and well-loved leader
              among the people. He brings together
              the Mongol and Turkic tribes who
              entitle him Genghis Khan (the Oceanic
              or Universal Ruler of all the Mongols),
              and so begins the Mongol Empire.
