                 ‘As ... as ...’ is translated as follows:

                 The superlative form ending in -íssimo indicates that some-
                 thing is ‘very/extremely ...’ without actually comparing it to
                 something else:
                           lindo          lindíssimo

                          beautiful      very beautiful
             HOW THE LANGUAGE WORKS

                 There are two ways to form an adverb. If the adjective ends in
                 -o, take the feminine and add -mente to form the correspond-
                 ing adverb:
                          exacto         exactamente
             Adjectives
                           izatoo          izatamaynt
                          accurate        accurately
             and
                 If the adjective ends in any other letter, add -mente to the basic
                 masculine form:
                           feliz          felizmente
             Adverbs
                           fileesh         filiJmaynt
                          happy            happily
                 Possessive Adjectives
                 Possessive adjectives, like other Portuguese adjectives, agree
                 with the noun in gender and number:
