With its long legs and massive hooked
           HIGH-SPEED KILLER beak, Kelenken was one of the fastest, most
           powerful predators of its era. The biggest of the ferocious “terror birds,” it hunted in the open plains
           of Patagonia, South America, about 15 million years ago. Its main prey were probably small
           mammals, but it may have had the speed and strength to hunt bigger victims.
