The Baroque iron gate (1728) by Arnold and Konrad
Küffner, with an “S” for Savoy and the cross of Savoy,
leads to the south façade of the Upper Belvedere.

roofs of the end pavilions
resemble the shape of Turkish
tents – an allusion to Prince
