R ushing to the ball, Matt List easily steals it and quickly passes it downfield to

Mike Smith. Matt works well with Mike and Mark Canterbury. A very aggressive

ballhandler, Mike was selected for the 2nd Team All American (NCCAA II) and a new

player for the Cougars, sweeper Casey Sutherland, was named Honorable Mention All

American.

S enior Mike Doig, playing fullback, slides and kicks

the ball away from the goal. His expertise helped make

goalie Dan Marquette's job a lot easier. Mike was

selected for the All-Tournament Team. His consistently

excellent performance was capped by an incredible play

in goal during the penalty shootout. He was runner up in

the balloting for MVP. Mike was also selected to the

NCCAA II All American Team.

S uccessfully fighting off his Patriot opponent, forward

Mark Canterbury gains complete control of the ball. The

referee watches closely for any foul play as Mark

prepares to pass downfield to Mike Smith. The Cougars

triumphed over Trinity College of Pasco 10-0.
