RAYMOND ALAN LaFAZIA

                Chess  Club,  III,  IV,  V,  Vice-president,  VI;  Cross  Country,  V,  VI;  Football,  IV;
Tennis, IV; Winter Track, III, IV, V, VI; Spring Track, III, IV, V.

If you ever happened to sit near the visitor's bench at a R.l.
Red's hockey game, you would without a doubt meet Ray. Since
his arrival here in the seventh grade, "Fuzzy" has served as the
Class's contact with the American Hockey League. Any player's
height, weight, age— you name it, Ray knows it. His fantastic
ability to recall is not limited to Arena "stats"; he has acquired a
phenomenal warehouse of historical fact in his (standing record)
fou r-year history study at Moses Brown. In his senior year, Ray
turned "wrassler" after a promising yet unacclaimed three-year
stint on Doc's track squads. With his sky-high senior boards, his
cockeyed hat, and his alligator shirts which have won him a home
in many a sympathetic heart, Ray should continue to lead his league
                in the future.

                                   CLAUDE ALEXANDER LEVY
Alliance Francaise V, VI; French Club, V, Executive Committee, VI; Proscenium
                Club,  V,  VI;  Quaker,  VI;  Soccer,  VI;  Tennis,  VI;  Winter  Track,  VI,  Manager;
                Spring Track, V.
Claude, the "Guatemalan Terror", has distinguished himself at
M.B. for his linguistic abilities. His fine record was highlighted by
an 800 in Spanish on the college board without his ever taking
first year Spanish! Claude also holds the record for going to Al
Reider's house thirty-nine consecutive week-ends (even when the
Reiders were on vacation). One of Doc's favorite boys on cor
ridor, Claude was most proud when he lettered in spring track last
year. Claude does have his weaknesses, though, for it seems he
could tolerate only one year of H.P.'s deutsche Klasse. Neverthe
less, with his mastery of four languages, we're sure Claude will be
a success as a language major. After all, it's more sensible than
                becoming a . . . . nuclear physicist.

                                       JOHN ALFRED LEWIS
Alliance Francaise, III, IV, V; Basketball, III; Delphian, Historian, V, VI; French
Club, III, IV, V; Glee Club, V, VI; Mosaic, V, Editor-in-Chief, VI; Quaker, V,
Copy Editor, VI; Soccer, Letter, V, VI; Swimming, V, Letter, VI; Tennis, IV,
                 Varsity, VI.
Call him what you will— Carrot-top, Queen Elizabeth, Red—
John stands out among the members of the class not simply for
his fiery crop of hair. Editor-in-Chief of this yearbook, Lou spent
many a dull(?) afternoon or evening hard at work in the publica
tions room and set a precedent at M.B. by meeting all three dead
lines. Part of John's success may be attributed to his intelligence,
for he is a student par excellence. And don't forget Lou's ac
complishments on the athletic field. A star first-string forward
on the best soccer team ever, he was part recipient of the Andy
Smyth Soccer Award; during the winter, John sped through the
water for the swimming team. Future classes at M.B. will be hard-
pressed to find an editor as competent as John and a unique
                personality as popular.
