Varsity Baseball 1958
ROPPING one contest to Horace Mann, Yet, in actual combat, strangely inconsistent
12-7, and snapping back to beat Poly Prep, performances and plain bad luck prevailed
D 6-4, the 1958 Varsity Baseball Team opened its throughout the season. No one really hit well

With an infield wall of Pete Dodge, Rob
Powell, John Kostmayer, and Doug Ehrhardt,
with Dick Tankel behind the plate, and John
Bose, Cam Baher, Tom Lehmkuhl, and Vic
Youritzin alternating the outfield patrols, plus
a slew of would-be pitchers, Mr. Maxim had a
good supply of well-rounded baseball talent.
